Yikes! Snakes

Ok - the other day Jim went into our age-challenged shed to get some pots and noticed what looked to be a relatively large black snake up on a shelf and wrapped around our little smokey joe.  Not too worried, we left it alone, thinking it would pass on by.....

Tuesday, we got into the shed for blackberry netting and found that there was not one, but two snakes!  Black snakes are not poisonous, but the do bite! FYI per DNREC there are no poisonous snakes in Delaware.  I am not sure what they eat, but I hope it is big spiders and small moles.... Flies and mosquitos would be nice, too!  Here is a video of Jim cutting the poor things loose.  You will never guess where they went when they got loose - yup! the shed!  Oh well, I guess I will just be more careful when I go into the shed....
